Fried chicken looked great, so I got a 3 pc (breast and 2 legs. They didn't have thighs) dinner with mashed potatoes/gravy and green beans and a small banana pudding for dessert.
This is Kentucky's local version of Pilot. Just like the big names truck stops, this one also has a diner. The Home Cooker has a separate Yelp page: https://yelp.to/qTKq/gmx9ZUpwT3 It's super conveniently located off of exit 41. There is an Old Town Grill practically in the same parking lot, and even more restaurant options within walking distance. The bathroom is clean. The men and women's bathrooms are each in different areas of the store, which was a bit confusing at first. Because more of the truckers enter in the back, and they're mostly all male, it makes sense. My favorite thing is the fountain drinks. All sizes are $.99. The styrofoam cups are thin, so be careful... I learned the hard way.
I ate breakfast here this morning, they make you a platter of breakfast items. I had biscuits and gravy, potatoes, chicken strips. Was all really and it cost less than 2 bec biscuits at McDonald's. Try it out.
